Tile flooring is very affordable as compared to the marble and wooden floorings. Normally tile flooring is 50% less expensive than other flooring types. This is because less effort is required to produce the tiles in factories.
Easy to install
Tile flooring has excellent workability. Tile flooring is easy to install and does not need extra works like grinding or polishing. This is because tile flooring has readymade texture. The only thing to watch during installation is that tiles are evenly installed.
Disadvantages of tile flooring
Difficult to maintain
Tile flooring is hard to maintain. Tile flooring needs regular maintenance as gap between tiles always collect dust which is not easy to clean. Due to the dust collection it’s not recommended for families with toddlers.
Hard to replace
It’s very hard to replace the broken or damaged tiles. Exact match tiles are hard to find in the market. Therefore it’s better to buy extra 10% tiles for the future repairs or the replacements.
Adopts the temperature
Tile flooring adopts the temperature which is not good. When weather is hot tile flooring feels hot and vice versa. Due to the adoption of temperature, tile flooring is not recommended in the fire place area.
